Very Lovely Vases

I love vases, sometimes more then the flowers inside, they are such beautiful ornamental home accessories. 

Also versatile,
 as they don't always have to be filled with flowers, when the vase itself is a statement piece it can hold it's own on the dining room table, counter top or on a nightstand as a piece of art & design.

Ohh and if you're wondering yes, that is a lotus votive candle holder and not a vase, I just thought it looked pretty right in that corner :)

WARNING DANGEROUS! - Oreo Truffles

Or as I aptly call them 'chocolate covered Oreo cheesecake balls.' 

Why mince words?   

They taste exactly like an Oreo cheesecake batter, it's incredible and incredibly delicious.

 (I did warn you)

You would not believe that they only have 3 ingredients!  Really 2 if you don't count the chocolate coating.

Super simple to make and even easier to pop into your mouth, 

especially when you make them mini like I did. 

I have obsession right now with mini things and lately I've been applying it to candy & baked goods in particular.

I used Bakerella's recipe from here.  

I urge you to try a batch :)

P.s. - I keep them in a ziploc bag in the freezer, so whip up a tray and tuck away for that last minute party you are throwing or a spontaneous girls night movie night and prepare to wow everyone & their taste-buds!

I love this color scheme!

I love these green walls paired with the blue carpeting that I saw in a hotel we stayed in recently. I of course am obsessed with green right now but this shade is just so perfect - doesn't it look amazing? I would love to have a room in my house rocking this color scheme...

In The Oven...

Thick, chewy oatmeal raisin cookies 

(with chocolate chips, of course) from smittenkitchen.com. 

Here is the recipe, I doubled it but found it didn't make as much as I was expecting based on her comments, I also chilled the batter before baking and it really did help to make them chewy and thick, YUMMY!!
