Beautiful Blooms!

These pictures were taken back in 2008 on a visit to my parents in Seattle. 

I can't get over how insanely gorgeous these flowers are. 

I love how big and dramatic the blooms are and of course the colors are breathless. 

Enjoy this little taste of Spring, from where I'm sitting the saying "April showers...." is holding very true :)
