Winter White

I love when old can become new again. This Banana Republic jacket is several years old and I just never found the right way to wear it (it still had the tags when I pulled it out!) When I recently purchased this fun owl scarf it gave me the jolt of inspiration I was looking for to pair these pieces and create a wintery white outfit!

Jacket: Banana Republic old (similar
Blouse: Mango (similar
Pants: Topshop (similar
Shoes: Enzo Angiolini peep toe
Scarf, Sunglasses, Clutch: Local boutique
Nail Polish: Essie Fifth Ave.
Rings: Tiffany (here & here)

Style Tip:
When styling a classic color combo like black and white, feel free to layer on accessories to add visual interest. Because the colors are pretty basic you can afford to add some complication to the look through various textures and elements (ie: the scarf, leathery clutch, silver jewelry, etc..) (As opposed to this look, where I kept the accessories and textures subtle due to the bright color combo!)

  3. I'm sorry, for a second there I forgot what city we were in... ;)

also, I'd like to think my black and white kick and recent marylin scarf purchase may have inspired the owl scarf but then with our telepathy I may have gotten the inspiration from you.

    gorgeous, classic, youthful pairings. xo
